Air Fryer Greek Tofu: Crispy, Flavourful & Easy Vegan Recipe

This crispy and flavourful Air Fryer Greek Tofu is packed with Mediterranean spices and ready in just 15 minutes! A perfect high-protein vegan dish for bowls, wraps, or salads.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 block extra firm tofu (pressed and cut into cubes)
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil I use cold pressed
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp greek oregano
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice or Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp himalayan salt Sea salt can be substituted

Instructions
 

  • Press the block of tofu to remove excess water. and cut into bite-sized cubes for even cooking.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
  • Toss tofu cubes with oil, garlic, spices, and lemon juice in bowl or container.  
    Pro tip: Save excess marinade for drizzling!
  • Place tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-15 minutes, shaking halfway through for even crispiness.
  • Pour the remaining warmed marinade mixure over Greek tofu when ready to serve.

Notes

You can make this recipe less oily by substituting 1/2 the oil for vegetable broth. You will need to double the spices to keep the flavour the oil infuses. You could make this oil-free by baking it in the oven. It will not be as crisp but will still taste great. Taste and adjust the spices or add some heat.
